For over thirty years, the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute has trained social workers, psychologists, pastoral counselors, and other health professionals in Gestalt theory and practice. Our students and practitioners have more than a technical understanding of psychological healing. They believe that you can never take a client to a place that you yourself have never been. Thus, our training develops therapists "from the inside - out." As our students reclaim their wholeness, they are able to see and hear the genuine experience of their clients more fully. Because they are astutely attuned to the unexpressed longings of their clients, our graduates are skilled in facilitating breakthrough experiences and adept at creating an exceptional atmosphere of safety and support. The Institute has a long tradition of helping diverse professionals to integrate Gestalt principles into their own unique practices.
