After a lengthy deliberation process (25 years) with the goal of preserving a standard of quality in our Training Programs, the Institute is now offering two (2) certifications, both a process for mastered degreed clinicians (CGT) and a process for lay people who wish to integrate Gestalt theory and practice into their vocation (CGP).

Processes:

GRANDFATHERING: IGI is offering certification to all Graduates from the last 30 years who have completed the 2 Year Training Program. If you are interested, please contact the IGI office and request the brief application form that indicates which certification you are requesting (CGT or CGP).

NEW APPLICANTS: Requirements include completing the 2 Year Program, meeting all program objectives, and completing the application process.

MAINTAINING CERTIFICATION: Ongoing certification does not require additional application process. We are asking that each CGT/CGP complete 12 hours of CEU's (Continued Education Units) per 2 year period that can be attained through the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute, Gestalt Institutes throughout the world, or any Gestalt workshops offered by an approved Health Professions Bureau organization.
