Charlie Bowman, MS, LCSW, LMFTis Past President of the Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy , Senior Faculty at the Indianapolis Gestalt Institute, Core Faculty with the Gestalt Institute of Bermuda and a Full Member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy. He completed three intensive years of core Gestalt therapy training in Indianapolis and extensive training in Integrative Psychotherapy. He has trained and mentored psychotherapists and counselors in the U.S.A. and abroad. Publications include commentary on the treatment of trauma, addictions, domestic violence and various aspects of Employee Assistance Programs. His greatest love and focus is on Gestalt therapy and he has published articles defining Gestalt therapy, identifying the use of Gestalt therapy in executive training programs, and the lead chapter in Woldt and Toman’s, Gestalt Therapy: History, Theory and Practice on the history of Gestalt Therapy. Steve Roberts, LCSW, LMFTis interested in relational methods in Gestalt therapy. He is Co-President of IGI and Director of The Foresight Group, an Indianapolis psychotherapy consortium. Steve has provided Gestalt therapy training in the Midwest for over 23 years. He has eleven years of training in Integrative Psychotherapy and recently concluded training with Richard Erskine in Lyon, France. Steve's present passion is in the integration of Gestalt and Buddhist psychologies. Ann Bowman, APRN, BC, LMHCis a Clinical Nurse Specialist in private practice. She has extensive training in Gestalt therapy, group therapy and Integrative psychotherapy. She is interested in Relational Gestalt Therapy methods as well as Gestalt and Buddhist philosophy. She has published research on the effects of alcoholism on family dynamics. She has presented Gestalt therapy workshops locally, nationally and internationally. David Alexander, HSPPhas served in every position in the IGI organization since its inception. He is currently on the AAGT Board of Directors. A graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, he also has training experience in Integrative Psychotherapy, Men's Issues (Warren Farrel and Robert Bly), sexuality and sexual dysfunction (Kinsey Institute, Patrick Carnes), in addition to Gestalt therapy training and workshops too numerous to mention. Eric Turner, MSW, NCAC-II, CASIGI Graduate and Faculty since 1990. Eric has refined the mask making process into a movement into self and awareness in Gestalt training. Eric is the Director of Polarity Counseling in Seymour, Indiana. He has studied with Richard Erskine and Michael Clemmons and helped to develop the Gorski relapse prevention model with Terry Gorski in 1984. Lee Verner, M.A., LMFT, LCSWCompleted Gestalt training with the Polsters in 1979-80, Lee has taught Gestalt therapy in Universities, at IGI, and the North American School of Experiential Teaching. She is a Supervisor in the MFT program at Christian Theological Seminary and a graduate of the Rubenfield Synergy Method Three Year Training and Jean Houston's Mystery School. Lee is an advanced student of Integrative Psychotherapy, with over seven years experience at the Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy. Karen Patrick-Knight, MSW, LCSWAn IGI graduate and faculty member since 1993, Karen is a private practice psychotherapist in Indianapolis. She has received training in Relational Gestalt Therapy with Steve Roberts and has studied extensively in Eastern and Western spiritual practices which joyfully permeate her life and work. Bonnie Shaller, BS, MT, CHTAn IGI graduate and staff member since 1983 with advanced training in Gestalt Therapy with Michael Clemmons and training experience in Integrative Psychotherapy. She is the former director of IGI's "Gestalt Body-Mind Program and co-director of "Gestalt, Spirituality and the Body." A graduate of the Lomi School, and a certified Hakomi Therapist, Bonnie specializes in integrative body centered therapy. Other modalities she has studied extensively include Reichian Breath Work, Polarity Therapy, Energetic Osteopathy and Reflexology. Kelly Kochell, MA, LCSW, LMFTAn IGI graduate and trainer for over 10 years, Kelly has studied Integrative Psychotherapy and has made numerous presentations on Brief Therapy, Cognitive Therapy and Music Therapy. He is the Executive Director of Hamilton Center's Youth Service Bureau and is in private practice at the Foresight Group. Rusty Moe, M.A.Rusty C. Moe has an M.A. from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio in counseling and religious studies, an M.A. from Butler University in creative writing, and is a graduate of the Gestalt Institutes of Indianapolis and Cleveland. A psychotherapist in private practice, he is also an instructor at the Creative Spirit Center in his hometown of Midland, Michigan, and in the pastoral counseling and marriage and family therapy program at Christian Theological Seminary. Rusty is the author of Our Presence Together in Chaos: Poems and Where God Learns. He and his partner, Tim Hoover, live in Indianapolis. Rik Spier, D.Min, LMFT, LCSW, LMHCAn IGI Graduate, member of the American Association of Marriage and Family therapy and AAPC Fellow. Rik is also ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist. Rik maintains a private practice in Tipton and Noblesville, Indiana. Nancy Campbell, Ph.D.An IGI grad in private practice in Indianapolis. She has special interest in integrating psychology and spirituality.
