The Indianapolis Gestalt Institute will be offering a Second Year program for those who have completed either the first year training through IGI or an equivalent program from another recognized training institute. The second year program will expand and deepen the student's understanding of the principles of Gestalt therapy, including an emphasis on Gestalt's relational approach. We will explore integrating Gestalt and other related models such as object-relations, inter-subjective theory and integrative psychotherapy. Topical modules will be designed and may include working with specific diagnoses and populations. Most of all,the training will offer support for the creative application of gestalt methods based upon the unique experience of the trainee (a hallmark of Gestalt practice). Supervision for the students by our renowned staff will be an important part of this second year. Gestalt is a theory and practice that is effective in a wide variety of professional areas including mental health, body focused therapy, pastoral services, business consultants and coaches. 35 Hours Clinical Training per semester (70 per year) Mondays 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. ¨ Certificate awarded ¨ Complete fee is $900/semester Continuing Education: 35 CEU’s will be awarded each semester upon completion We are currently accepting applications. |
